The company uses the collection of images (still and video) to support customers requiring aerial surveys or aerial photography of structures, land and property. This imagery is obtained by Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) as it is generally quicker than collection of similar information and data from the ground.
A J S Support Limited take responsibility for the impact on privacy of third parties when providing customer support using RPAS and has registered with the ICO and has undertaken a Privacy Impact Assessment for this service. The PIA was carried out using the guidance from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) – Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) – Conducting privacy impact assessments code of practice – Dated 20140225 at Version: 1.0. Each assignments also has a privacy element to the planning of a flight.
